Food, Families, and Fundraising (Bridge Communities)

There is an amazing organization in Glen Ellyn, Illinois – Bridge Communities.  Bridge Communities is a nonprofit organization started by dear friends, Bob Walgren and Mark Milligan.  Bridge Communities provides transitional housing for homeless families.  Most of their clients are Africa-American.  This organization not only provides housing, but it provides hope for attainable goals and a better life.  The executive director is Joyce Hothan who has an infectious spirit of optimism.  I have been a fan and supporter of Bob, Mark and Joyce for more than 10 years.

Bridge Communities

I LOVE Bridge Communities.   They believe in the resiliency of spirit which connects with my personal journey.  I am in awe of the number of families they have helped.  Bridge Communities is making a difference on a local level with global impact.  They are having a fun-filled fundraiser this weekend.  If you have dinner at Cab’s Wine Bar & Bistro, Adelle’s, Honey Cafe or Shannon’s Irish Pub a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Bridge Communities.  Please join me at one of these venues.  Be there and be blessed!!!
